Allah in the Bible

After this I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting:
“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God! (Revelation 19:1)

Hallelujah = Jah, halle ,lu = Ya Alla lu = Ya Allah Hu

About the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?”which means, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46)

El (God) - Eli (My God) - Elohim (God with plural of respect "im" or "our God") - Ellah (one God) - Allah

A Jew explains why Allah is the one and only God

Where was the word 'ALLAH' lost by Jews and Christians?

The Word "Allah" in The Bible

QURAN 112
Monotheism
al-Ikhlas

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. Say, “He is Allah, the One.

2. Allah, the Absolute.

3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.

4. And there is nothing comparable to Him.”

Quran (17) sūrat l-isrā : 111

And say, "Praise to Allah , who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification."

“I am” proof Jesus was God

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” (Exodus 3:14)

John 8:48-59 Revised Standard Version (RSV)
48 The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”
49 Jesus answered, “I have not a demon; but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.
50 Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it and he will be the judge.
51 Truly, truly, I say to you, if any one keeps my word, he will never see death.”
52 The Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If any one keeps my word, he will never taste death.’
53 Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you claim to be?”
54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing; it is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is your God. 55 But you have not known him; I know him. If I said, I do not know him, I should be a liar like you; but I do know him and I keep his word.
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced that he was to see my day; he saw it and was glad.”
57 The Jews then said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?”[a]
58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”
59 So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple.

This is a claim from Jesus that consider by us as divinity: first, that He pre-existed His human birth and was actually alive and present before Abraham; second, that His title was “I am” -- which was the same title used for Jehovah God in Exodus 3:14 so for us it was matched and identical to proof Jesus divinity but there is another verses from the bible that shows the identical statement from another prophet of God to proof that this is our misunderstanding about the statement from Jesus.

Genesis 22:11
But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."

Genesis 31:11
"Then the angel of God said to me in the dream, 'Jacob,' and I said, 'Here I am.'

So the statement “I am” is not confession of divinity but its refer to place or time. Jesus said "before Abraham was born.." to refer for his position of time so there is no the confession of divinity on that verse.

Just becaused Jesus said " i am" it doesnt necessarily means yhwh becaused we can found " i am" from another place in the bible..if "i am' really does refer to himself as God but why did Jesus chose  the moment before abraham was born? becaused God does not refer himself as yhwh before abraham was born but God revealed himself as yhwh before moses (after abraham) .... did God revealed himself as yhwh before noah? No! did God revealed himself as yhwh before adam as God's first man?? No! God revealed himself as yahweh before moses not before abraham was born..

John 4:25-42  New International Version (NIV)
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.

26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he (the Messiah).”

Yochanan  4:25-42  Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
25 The isha says to him, I have da’as that Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach is coming, the one being called the Messiah. When Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach comes, he will proclaim to us everything.

26 Yehoshua says to her, Ani Hu (I am He), the one speaking to you.

Jesus said 'I AM' so that means he is GOD

Q&A Jesus:Before Abraham Was, I Am (John 8:58)

Did Jesus Claim to be God when he said i am ?

Jesus said 'I am the Way the Truth and the Life'!

Every glory for Jesus is GIVEN by God

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son IS GIVEN, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Daniel 7:13-14 said, I continued watching in the night visions, and I saw One like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was escorted before Him. He WAS GIVEN AUTHORITY to rule, and glory, and a kingdom; so that those of every people, nation, and language should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed."

Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the GLORY YOU GAVE ME because You loved Me before the foundation of the world. (John 17:24)

God is greater than Jesus and all

Father is Greater than Jesus

Ye have heard how I said unto you, ‘I go away and come again unto you.’ If ye loved Me, ye would rejoice because I said, ‘I go unto the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.(JOHN 14:28)

Father is Greater than ALL

My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.(John 10:29 )

So Jesus and Father (God) are not EQUAL

I and the Father are one.

John 10:30-37

John 10:30
I and the Father are one.

So what is the contex for this statement??..there is no other way but its connected with the next verses…

John 10:31-33
31-At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him.
32-But Jesus answered, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?”
33-“We are not stoning You for any goodwork, said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You,who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.”

It seems Jews claimed that Jesus consider himself as God but Jesus didn’t accept it or denied it becaused its related with the contex meaning of ‘god’ according to those jews (linguistic boundation) ..not literally god is the contex of divinity but it is in the contex of godly work for real God who gave those godly authority.

John 10:34
Jesus replied, “Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said you are gods’?

To defend himself Jesus replied by quote the law of moses (Torah- old testament) which is psalm 82:6

Psalm 82:6
said, "You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High. “

John 10:35-36
35- If he called them GODS TO WHOM THE WORD OF GOD CAME — and the Scripture cannot be broken —
36- THEN WHAT ABOUT THE ONE WHOM THE FATHER SANCTIFIED AND SENT INTO THE WORLD? How then can you accuse Me of blasphemy’ for stating that I am the Son of God?

From the verses John 10: 35-36 the ‘god’ in the contex for Jesus situation and the past jews(psalm 82:6) is the one whom bring the word of God or the one whom sent by Father into the world to do the godly work..Jesus truly the son of god metaphorically becaused he did bring the word of God and sent by God to fullfill the godly mission (mission from God). The same situation like Moses the one who received the godly authority upon falsehood and evil (Pharaoh).

Exodus 7:1

Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I make you as God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet.

Jesus clearly state if he did not doing his Father work so don’t believe in him but the fact is he did his task as someone who sent by God almighty…

John 10:37
If I am not doing the works of My Father, then do not believe Me.

Note: One which means inseparable in purpose in mission in relation and connection

But if I am doing them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works themselves,so that you may know and understand that theFather is in Me, and I in the Father.” (John 10:38 )

Jesus made such statement to described the connection between him and the God are very close connection and relation but not in essence or existence.

But if we are to base the oneness of God and Jesus on those biblical passage (based on Trinity theory), then we have to equally accept what John himself had remarkes in the same Gospel that God must be consisting of not only three divine persons but 15 with inclusions of the twelve disciples as the Bible emphasizes in the following passage…Per assertion of the above quoted biblical passage, we may take for granted that Trinity is extandable to FIFTEENITY:

John 17:20-26

20- I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message,
21-That all of them (the desciples) may be one, as you, father, are in me, and i am in you. may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
So the “in” in those verses its supposed to mean the very close connection between God and Jesus and the anyone who  honestly following Jesus teached (the desciples)..
22- I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one
23- I in them and you in me — that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me.
Jesus clearly wish for loveness of God not just for him but share the love together with his desciples..so Jesus and the desciples perfectly united with the love of God..
24-Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory you gave me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
The glory of Jesus was clearly given by God
25-Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, I know You, and they know that You sent Me.

Jesus want the world known the God as their God and know

that Jesus was sent by God (messenger)

26-And I have made Your name known to them and will continue to make it known, so that the love you have for me may be in them, and i in them.”

Note: Unity in one faith one love one heart toward God. One in bondation. One in connection. One in relation. One in purpose. One in mission. One in the same truth. Unity and gathering in one path. The unity of purpose.

                                       1 Corinthians 12
12- For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13- For by one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14- For the body is not one member, but many.

 John 11:52
and not only for the nation, but also for the scattered children of God, to gather them together into one.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.
7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.

John 10:25-30 Revised Standard Version (RSV)
25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness to me;
26 but you do not believe, because you do not belong to my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; 28 and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to me,[a] is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

30 I and the Father are one.”

Note: The Father and Jesus had one same purpose and one goal to gathered all the "sheep" to received the eternal life and never perished.

Conclusion

People of the Book, do not go to excess in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary, a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers and do not speak of a 'Trinity'—stop, that is better for you—God is only one God, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust.
— Qur'an, sura 4 (An-Nisa), ayat 171

Those who say, "God is the Messiah, son of Mary," have defied God. The Messiah himself said; "Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord." If anyone associates others with God, God will forbid him from the Garden, and Hell will be his home. No one will help such evildoers. Those people who say that God is the third of three are defying [the truth]: there is only One God. If they persist in what they are saying, a painful punishment will afflict those of them who persist. Why do they not turn to God and ask his forgiveness, when God is most forgiving, most merciful? The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a messenger; other messengers had come and gone before him; his mother was a virtuous woman; both ate food. See how clear We make these signs for them; see how deluded they are.

— Qur'an, sura 5 (Al-Ma'ida), ayat 72-75[4]

John 20:17  King James Version (KJV)
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Immanuel-God with us

Immanuel predicted in the Old Testament
Isaiah the prophet prophesied about the birth of Immanuel. In isaiah 7:14 (King James Version)

He said, All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means 'God is with us')

Immanuel or emmanuel mentioned and 'confirmed' by new testament

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Immanuel was nothing to do with divinity but a name for a person just like Eli and there is a person names “Eli” in the bible.. by using the name it doesn’t mean he was God but it just a name that’s all .Eli literally means “my God”

but is the person( Eli) in the bible was God? Of course not…refer to  1 Samuel 3:8, 1 Samuel 4:14, 1 Samuel 3:5,1 Samuel 3:6

So the LORD called Samuel again for the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, "Here I am, for you called me." Then Eli discerned that the LORD was calling the boy.(1 Samuel 3:8)

What Jesus actually said about that? he wasnt claim his divinity but claim he was escorted by God and he even asking god for help.

John 16:32
Listen, the hour is coming, indeed it has already come, when you will be scattered, each of
you to his own home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone,
because the Father is with me

Matthew 27:46
About the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?”

But the same verse state that the mother supposedly the virgin right ??
Refer to  New Revised Standard Version Bible the mother is not a virgin but just young woman .

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel. (New Revised Standard Version:Isaiah 7:14 )

So who was else supposed to be Immanuel=God with us ???

If you do not help him, God has already helped him, when those who disbelieved expelled him, and he was the second of two (Muhammad and his best friend Abu Bakar) in the cave. He (Muhammad) said to his friend (Abu Bakar), “Do not worry, God is with us.” And God made His tranquility descend upon him, and supported him with forces you did not see, and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the Word of God is the Highest. God is Mighty and Wise.
(
QURAN chapter 9 Repentance/at-Tawbah:40)

Muhammad convince his friend Abu Bakar that God with them during the migration to Medina and they almost found by Pagan Arabs and Abu Bakar getting terrified.

Incarnation of God into human form

Philippians 2:5-11

5- Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:
6- Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to cling to,
7- but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8- And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death — even death on a cross.
9- Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name above all names,
10- that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11- and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

What you have been quoting was Hebrew, philippians, galatians, Corinthians, thessalonians..who’s that? Is it Jesus? NO! its Paul ! PAUL! PAUL ! I want to know what our master Jesus said..i love him, i respected him, i reverted him .. I want to follow him but I want to know what he said..give me his own word, not somebody else what he thinks upon Jesus or what utter to be meant or what it is implied …religion ,my salvation does not depend on people’s interpretation (including Paul and the desciples) your’s or mine or anybody’s.. I want to know what did the master (jesus) say….he said :

The word that you hear are not mine but the Father sent me, he had me given a commandment what should I say and what I should speak, even as the Father that says to me, so I speak
(John 12:49)

So what he spoke was the truth, Jesus what he said was the truth..maybe you understand things differently but I’m prepared to abide that (Ahmad Deedat)
We demand WHAT JESUS SAID about himself not anyone else opinion or think upon him..wherever his disciple or else.. where is the Jesus said that : I’m God or worship me..

Is Jesus Truly A God Ahmed Deedat

Note:Its imposibble for anything on the heaven or the earth to contain or domain God. There is no existence be able to fit God existence and God existence beyond everything and limitless.

1 Kings 8:27  Revised Standard Version (RSV)
“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!

If God Can Do Anything, Why Can’t He Become a Man? Rabbi Tovia Singer Responds

God can't changed or transform himself to anything

God is immutable

No shape-No version-No Transformation-No Incarnation-No Conversion
(Of Existence)

“And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind” (1 Samuel 15:29).

“For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed” (Malachi 3:6, emphasis mine).

Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow (James 1:17).

Note: There is no such thing as variation of God as the Son as the Man or anything at all.

Psalm 15:4 King James Version (KJV)
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

Jeremiah 4:28  King James Version (KJV)
For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
