Muslim from the very Beginning

And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah ]. And he was not of the polytheists.

4 For Christ is the end of the law, that every one who has faith may be justified.

Note: Faith came through hearing. Hearing came from the preacher and the preacher bring us the word of God (Books).
