3-Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.
If jesus really the God so why he need to pray? To whom he praying for? This is a distinction between son (blessed man) and the Father (God) You, the only true God,- “you”(God) is the ONLY true God not me(Jesus) Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. –testimony that he’s the messenger of God
John 6:38

Matthew 23:9
And do not call anyone on earth your father, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Note: Jesus on earth so he was not the Father (God), the real Father is one that on heaven.
John 14:28
You heard Me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.(No equality between Father and Jesus. They are not in the same level.)

When the eight days until His circumcision had passed, He was named Jesus, the name the angel had given Him before He had been conceived. Question: Did God circumcised?? And angle gave the name for God his own creator? Did God being conceived for 9 month?

According to this prayer , there is no mention about praying to Jesus in the heaven or pray to Father together with Jesus in the heaven..this is what Christian have done today..they were worshipped and pray to Jesus but the fact is Jesus himself pray to God.
